Merry Xmas - Im Back Home In Dallas (Blog)
Tuesday, 23 December 2008

Merry Christmas everyone! I thought it would be appropriate to start off by saying that.

I just landed home in Dallas. We finally got a much needed win tonight against the Clippers. I had an ok game and it's a good feeling going into these couple of off days after a win. Sometimes losing can just drain you.

Anyway, enough about basketball. I'm home now! And it's COLD! Texas always has flip flop weather so I guess this is a low point right now.

To all of my last-minute Christmas shoppers out there, I feel your pain right now. I stil have a couple of things to get myself. I know I'll pull through because I always do. It's something about that last-minute pressure that makes me choose the perfect gift for my friends and family.

So with that said, I'm about to enjoy my time at home and get in the holiday spirit. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

Chris Bosh Reviews 'Twilight' the Book (Blog)
Wednesday, 17 December 2008
Recently the book "Twilight" was recommended to me by a friend of mine. I've been reading it for the past week and I wasn't suprised by the fact that it's a love story because my friend is a female. What up Twin! ... She knows who she is.

Anyway, I'm almost done with the book and its been pretty decent so far. I'm used to reading books with a lot of action in it and it hasn't gotten to that part yet. It has vampires in it so it has to have some kind of excitement in it. As of yet, just mushiness. I know that might not be a word, but work with me. You know what I'm trying to say.

They actually made a movie based on the book with the same title. It came out about 2 1/2 weeks ago and it did very well in the box office. I've heard a lot of mixed opinions about the film so far. If I hear mixed opinions, I usually just wait until the movie comes out on DVD before I see it at the theatres because nothing's worse than paying for a movie that isn't good.

This book is actually the first of a 4 part series and it seems like a good start. One thing I can say is that I don't think it's better than the Harry Potter series. J.K. Rowling raised the bar becuase Harry Potter was so entertaining. I'm sure that makes it tough for people trying to write a series of books in the future. The Harry Potter movies are also pretty good so and it's made my standard pretty high.

I'm almost done with the book so I'll be checking out the movie very soon. Hopefully it'll be good.

Wishing Sam Mitchell Nothing But the Best (Blog)
Saturday, 06 December 2008
What's up?! I know.... It's been a while since I've written. A lot has happened, but I'll keep it brief.

As you all know, we recently had a coaching change. First of all I would to thank Sam Mitchell for everything that he gave to the organization. I wish him nothing but success as he moves on in the future.

Tonight is our first game under Jay Triano. I'm comfortable with Jay because he's been with the Raptors since I've been there. I think he is going to do a great job. As a team we have to make sure we bounce back and play the type of basketball I know we can play.

Other than basketball I've just been trying to cope with the freezing weather. It's hasn't really snowed really bad in Toronto so that's a plus for me.

I'm working on my next video too. Its getting tougher because I'm tryin to keep my ideas fresh and I always want it to be good. I'll be ok though. I think that pressure is always good for you.

Well, I'm off to shootaround. We finally have a game on ESPN! Hopefully we'll do really well and they'll pick us up for more games. Also, vote for me for the All-Star Game! It would be greatly appreciated.

The Games Are Going To Count Now (Blog)
Friday, 24 October 2008
We played our final pre-season game yesterday. Now the games are going to count from now on starting next week. I'm glad about that because I like the regular season a lot more and it's just a different feeling when you know the games count. You have a different feeling before and after that games. I mean, pre-season isn't that bad, but the stats you put up don't count and the record you have means nothing. It's just about warming up to get ready for the real thing.

During the pre-season, the question that I'm asked the most is how Jermaine and I are getting along and how we're going to work together on the court to help better the team. I've noticed that expectations have gone way up from the fans to the media to the organization and that's understandable because that's why the trade was made. Now people are asking me how well we're going to do and a lot of goal oriented question. What's our goal for pre-season? What's our goal for the team during the All-star break? What's our goal for the season? What's going to be the goal going into the playoffs?

Excited to Start the Season and Working on My Next Video (Blog)
Wednesday, 08 October 2008
I'm sitting here thinking of how to make my next video as funny as possible. We're in Cleveland now because we have our first pre-season game tomorrow. I can't believe I have another game! It came so fast and it seems like it was yesterday when I had a jersey with USA on the front. I'm ready to start playing again though. I think playing this summer with the National team has really helped my game because I feel like I'm in the best shape of my life. I had to get used to shooting the ball again, but that wasn't hard for me to pick back up.

Anyway, like I was saying. I'm in the creative process for my next video for me and Baron's competition. I have no idea what he's going to do, but I think it's going to be funny so I have to make sure I bring it. There's a little pressure on me because Baron's videos are good and I'm kind of competing with myself too because of my own videos from the past. I'm confident though. I think I'm going to start filming next week and edit it the week after so it will be in motion very soon. I wish I could tell everyone what it's going to be, but I have to keep my secret safe... Plus Baron might be reading and watching.

Other than that everything is going pretty well. I'm excited to start playing again and things are really starting to pick up for me since. I'm going to launch Chris-bosh.com 2.0 at the end of the month. It's going to look really good and a lot more creative. I felt it was time to change up things a little and freshen up the website. I hope you guys like it when I update it. Another positive thing going on is that my fantasy team is rolling! Out of all of my friends I'm doing the best. The fantasy league at rotohog.com is a little different, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. We've been talking a lot of trash since it started so I've got to back up my words.

Now that I think of it, the new NBA2K came out today. I really don't play it that much, but my friends do and a lot of people I know play it too. I know more people play 2K than Madden so I have to start practicing since I don't play it much. I'm already the best at every other video game out of me and my friends (especially Madden and Halo) so I might as well start playing NBA2K and be the best at that one too.

Well... Tomorrow is the start of a long season so wish me luck!!!!!!!!
