Well... The season's over now. We lost a close one in Jersey the other night that put us out. It came down to the last play! We ran a play for me to get the ball in the paint. I set a screen and then Richard Jefferson got in front of me. I had a lay-up if the pass got through, but Richard Jefferson deflected the pass and we couldn't get a shot off. If he doesn't make that play, it's no telling how the series would have turned out.
Since then, I haven't watched any games, I just look at the scores at the end of the night. I'm still in Toronto hanging around the city and I'll be here for a little while longer. My brother is visiting me right now so it's cool to have some company. Even though the season is over, it was still a great year for us. We had a great turn around so I can't be disappointed.
The summer is here now so I have to figure out what to do for the next couple of months. I might take a vacation to get away for a minute and just hang out with my family. USA Basketball is going to be later on, so I have to plenty of time to rest and get ready for it so we can qualify for The Olympics in 2008. I'll be in Toronto for a little while longer so I can clean up around the house,then it's back home to Texas. |
