I'm On Vacation Right Now |
 I'm on vacation right now and I was wondering should I be writing any blogs because this falls under work a little bit, but I decided to go ahead and write one. I'm in Jamaica right now and I've been here for around 4 or 5 days (I lost count). My girl bought this trip back in December for me for a Christmas gift. It's just the two of us having a good time and soaking up the sun. It's nice to get away for a little while to chill and not worry about what life brings sometimes.
Yesterday was her birthday so I wanted to do something special for her. The thing with her is,it's not easy to surprise her. It hasn't happened much, if any, because she's too nosy and she's always trying to figure out what's going on. We had a conversation a while back and I told her I would do what no one else has done and surprise her. She didn't want to listen to me and she told me she was going to find out so we just let that be a disagreement.
After about half the day passed, I took her to her present. I rented a private yacht for a few hours and we had dinner and toured some of the coast line of Jamaica alone, with just the crew. She was freaked out at first because she couldn't believe it, but she loved it. Overall, we had a good time, despite a little sea sickness from me.But I gave her a good surprise for her birthday.
To all of those out there who know someone who can't easily be surprised, take this blog as some advice. Make sure you plan everything right and try to keep away from texts, letters or emails. Pretty much anything he or she can pick up and read. Believe me, it can be done. |
